Session title: Wireless Communication Technologies

To meet continuous and growing demands for higher production and reduced costs, oil and gas companies worldwide are thinking ingeniously. Efficient Oil & Gas exploration and production operations require high capacity smart communication networks that can operate under harsh environmental conditions reliably and resiliently. Such communication networks can facilitate the reduction of capital and operational expenditures, while increasing operational efficiency and safety. Once these smart communications channels are in place, there is a broader organizational need to connect data from equipment to insights for clear enterprise visibility that can drive transformational change across an organization and our industry.

This session will introduce and evaluate current capabilities and barriers of the state-of-the-art innovative communication systems being utilized in O&G industry.
