Session title: Subsea Maintenance, Inspection & Repair (IMR)

This session is devoted to autonomous unmanned systems developed for subsea inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR).  The technology gaps and operational risk profile for pipeline and infield inspections will be discussed in the context of green and brown fields. The speakers will highlight how their organisations are developing and de-risking enabling technology that have strong impact on the cost and efficiency of IMR workflows: planning, sensor fusion, localisation and mapping, command & control, communication enablers, human-machine interaction, power management and analytics for anomaly/event detection.

Session Moderator: Sepand Ossia, Schlumberger-Doll Research Center

1345-1400: unthetered ROV with supervised autonomy: the role of telemetry & AI

Neil Herbst

1400-1415: Transforming Underwater Vehicle Services Through Autonomy and New Deployment Methods

Lee Wilson, i-Tech Services

1415-1430: SAAB Marine Technologies

Peter Ekers, SAAB

1445-1515: Panel "Accelerating the market adoption of autonomous marine robotics"

• Current trends in subsea IMR robotics landscape

• Use cases likely to be disrupted by Intelligent marine robotics

• Technology/business/competency barriers impeding the adoption of autonomous solutions

• Setting healthy MVP requirements

• Recognising the benefits of partnerships for accelerating time to market
